Hawaii Is The Next state to ban animal testing for cosmetics

Living things have a right to live on this earth freely. But the human becomes an incentive to the pain of others. Though animals can not talk they have a voice. We all have come to this world for a specific purpose. The earth needs all, to balance her environment. People use animal testing for cosmetics and medical tests. They have become experimental subjects in medical and cosmetic fields. It is acceptable if there are no other alternatives, in medical tests. But how can we accept it for the cosmetic field?

Many nations have established laws to make an animal testing better way. As such animal testing is a highly controversial subject. It often elicits conflicting emotions from animal lovers and critics alike. We can support animal testing only in certain cases and oppose its use in other areas.

Hawaii is the next state to prohibit animal testing for cosmetics. The Hawaii cruelty-free cosmetic act passed. The state lawmakers final ballot introduced this bill several years ago. He stated cosmetic manufactures to stop selling any product. Using new animal testing from January next year.

So, Hawaii is the sixth state to ban cosmetic animal testing. And Senator Gabbard introduced this law in 2018. He expressed his fidelity to advancing legislation to protect animals from unneeded pain and suffering from unnecessary testing of cosmetic products.

However, California became the first USA state to ban the sale of animal-tested cosmetics. So in 2019 Nevada and Illinois brought this legislation. Similar legislation is currently pending in Maryland. So by this time more than forty countries restricted animal testing for cosmetics.

Unfortunately, thousands of animals proceed to suffer harsh testing methods. Such as having chemicals dripped into their eyes or rubbed on their skin. With the growth of awareness programmes, people are looking for cruelty-free cosmetic products. And various kinds of modern methods have introduced to reduce this. Hence, we don’t need to test cosmetic products on innocent animals.

Similar legislation passed in Virginia recently. Also as a human, it is our responsibility to help with these awareness programmes. So this is a big achievement to protect animal begins. And we need to take various other acts to protect animals and nature. So Petly supports guiding people in the right way.
