As a result of the war, thousands of pet animals are left behind the streets and lanes of Ukraine. The animal shelters are overcrowded with limited amounts of facilities.
Best Friend Animal Shelter is a well-known shelter and they urgently need help to rescue animals after a great destruction. The shelter was home to more than 900 animals including 550 gods and 350 cats.
Unexpected moment
It was Tuesday evening. The shelter informed that it was shelled again. The enclosures of the shelter for puppies and dogs were burned down. Most of the innocent animals tragically died due to the fire.

No Communication
This big blast makes the area lose communication. The shelter noted that there is no internet in the area to send even a photo or a video of the destruction. The manager of the organization asked to help them to protect these animals.

He reportedly took them out of an apartment which was damaged by shelling.

How to reach the shelter
To reach the shelter helpers can bypass the field on the side of Zhytomyr. The access area is still open but unfortunately, the situation can change within a second.

Things they need
The shelter noted that they need enough food, water, and blankets as the weather is so cold these days. The enclosures also have broken due to the blast and they ask for some building materials to renovate the broken fences, windows, boards, nets, and solar station.
The authority of the organization is urging people to reach there physically and help them. The volunteers are kindly requested to help to save and protect these innocent lives.
